Star Fish hosted 10 members of the Brennan family at a fishing party the weekend of June 25th. Ranging in age from about 8 year old up, even those who had never fished before became good fisherpersons by the end of the trip. We went out to the reefs and found a sufficient number of Black Sea bass to keep the party busy and happyIt was interesting to note that the larger fish seemed to prefer spearing and clam to the more traditional baits. . The party was treated to the sight of a number of schools of porpoises feeding, and one large thresher shark. The weather was beautiful and the seas flat due to a mild NW breeze. We ended the day with more than enough for fillets to enjoy for dinner.
