Memorial Day Weekend Report posted by Capt. Lindsay Fuller of the June Bug on 5/24/010
June Bug will move to its summer home in Beach Haven, NJ on Memorial Day Weekend. This year, we will not simply run the boat north. We have an experienced crew ready to fish her up all the way. It has been a record-setting tunafish season at Oregon Inlet this spring. If you didn't get down there to catch big Bluefins, BigEyes, and school Yellowfins, you really missed out! Weather permitting, we will leave Oregon Inlet (Nags Head), NC with the charter fleet Sunday morning, go out to where the fleet has been catching 'em between The Point and the Triple Zeros, and start north along the 100 fathom line. We plan to arrive in Beach Haven around dinner time on Monday if all goes well. A report about the trip will be posted after we get back. We have plenty of prime charter dates available so look at your calendar and give us a call. Our prices are not much differnet than everyone elses but you get the top of the line boat, equipment, and crew. See you soon. Let's go fishin'! Capt. Lindsay Fuller |
