Black Fish (Togue) Report posted by Carl Sheppard of the Star Fish on 4/19/010
Blackfish (Tautogue) fishing is still open, so Capts Carl and John took Star Fish out with a party of 8 fisherpersons to a favorite black fish wreck on Sunday. It is a high wreck in 65' of water. In about 2 hours fishing we ended up with 30 fish. The largest was over 25". Also of note, the stripers are moving down from the rivers and into the bays and inlets. Best fishing has been on the ebb tide. There are some bluefish also in the bays. Capt. Carl 609-661-3080
