Open boat ran today with Bob, John and John. Left the dock around 7:30 do to the west wind and the blow out tide. When we go to our spot for the day found that we had wind against the tide for the last part of the incoming. As the tide went slack we had our first hit and and the fish came to the boat and spit the hook just out of reach for the net. It would have be a very nice keeper to start the day. Shortly after that John had a nice fish but much smaller than the first one. The fish ended up to be 25” so back in it went. Made two more moves but had no other hits on any of the lines for the rest of the day. Nice day to be on the water but the fish did not show today.
