Open Boat ran again today with Bruce, Chris, and Jack. The plan was to fish the last half of the out going and then fish the first half of the in coming. Got set up and thought it was going to be a great day. There were several nice hit but they did not take the hook. As the tide bottomed out Chris had our first hook up and the fish can to the boat and was a short 25”. Jack had the next fish and it looked to be bigger but just fell short of the 28” mark and back in that one went. When the tide was to turn we found that the wind picked up and had wind against the tide for the rest of the trip. There were lots of laughs on this trip but no fish in the box. Water temp was between 60 and 62.
